Waxing Etiquette

Please arrive for your treatment clean and fresh. Wipes will be provided for clients who have come directly from work.

HOW LONG DOES HAIR NEED TO BE

The hair needs to be 1cm in length for optimum results. If the hair is too long, (it can be more painful), it will need to be trimmed. I can do this before commencing treatment.

HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST

This depends on the individual. In most cases, there is minimal regrowth in 3 weeks. Regular waxing encourages sparser regrowth.

HOW OFTEN

I would recommend every 4 - 6 weeks for optimum results .

WHY GET WAXED

Many men and women of all ages and professions get waxed. Reasons range from feeling cleaner and hygienic to feeling sexy and heightening sensitivity between the sheets!

PRECAUTIONS

I need to be advised if you are taking any medications as this can affect your treatment. Any other contraindications need to be mentioned - skin irritations, conditions, diabetes, etc.

BEFORE TREATMENT.....

If you are having an intimate waxing treatment, you will need to strip from the waist down. So please, don't be embarassed , I can assure you that you will feel very comfortable with me.

AFTERCARE

For 24-48 hours avoid sun exposure, hot showers or baths, solariums, spas, swimming pools. An aftercare cream is advisable. This can be purchased at the salon.
